Due to his horrific start in life, Benji has no trust in humans what so ever .In spite of being here for many years I am the only person he allows to touch him . If any males go anywhere near him he shakes in fear.
He is great with all the other dogs here and is a happy little chap so long as no one from the outside world comes near him. 
As far as I'm concerned this is his home for as long as he needs us. It is an unfortunate fact that some dogs eventually get over past traumas and for others it just never happens and all we can do is give as much love and support as we can .
